WHAT'S A DIGITAL ART?

Digital art refers to any artistic works that uses technology as part of the creative process, or more specifically as computational art that uses and engages with digital media. Various names have been used to describe digital art, including computer art, multimedia art and new media art, etc. In this case, I'll explain about anime style digital art.

Anime style digital art is a drawing style that imitate cartoons from Japan that's called anime. It has a characteristic of pointy nose, big eyes, saturated color and highlight.

I started to do digital drawing at elementary school. From 3rd grade I really liked to watch anime and from then on I have a dream to be an animator. I'm from Indonesia and the education for digital drawing is not well-known. So I studied on my own how to draw from various platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and Twitter.

I was so bad at drawing at first, but I tried from scratch from how to draw simple things like eyes, mouth, hair, etc. Then to the complex parts like hands, feet and body. I started drawing manually and then slowly moved to digital art.

I made an Instagram account when I was 10. I met many virtual friends that supports my digital drawings there, even though it wasn't a great drawing. I made another blog to discuss how to make your art account and finding online mutuals. Go visit it.
