How to Make Anime Style Drawing

 As I said at the last blog, anime style drawing has characteristics such as tiny nose, big eyes with many highlight, the hair aren't drawn per piece, they don't have any spesifics for details like realistic drawings.

Draw an oval that resembels a face, then divide it into 4 sections. This is be the basic outline of the head.

Draw a horizontal & vertical line through the center of it. These lines are guides to draw the facial feature.

Draw the eyes underneath the horizontal line. Make the eyes bigger. Start by drawing a thick upper lash line just underneath the horizontal line you drew and on one side of the vertical line. Draw a circle below that line and draw a black pupil in the center of it. Draw a narrow, horizontal line underneath the circle for the lower lash line.

Make the eyebrow by drawing a curving line above the horizontal line. If you’re drawing a girl, make the eyebrows thin. For a boy, thicken the eyebrows so they’re more prominent on the face.

Draw another 2 horizontal line below the eyes to make the nose and motuh. Anime nose and mouths are small please remember that. The nose and mouths aren't bigger than the eyes.

Draw the ears beside the eyes. then draw the hair, start drawing from the top of the head to the bottom, make sure the center are always on the top of the head.

Erase the guidelines. And now you have a full face anime character!
